GP2 man Buxton next in e-reporter hot-seat.

GP2 Series media and communications guru Will Buxton will be the next man to face a probing by Crash.net and e-reporter fans, after agreeing to take part in the second of the 2007 season's forum chats.

Like last month's guest, Tony Jardine, Will is an integral part of the e-reporter scheme, adding his weight of experience to the judging panel each year, while attempting to keep the world posted about the latest developments within the GP2 Series itself

His motorsport career started when he began writing feature articles for grandprix.com whilst still at university. A political science student, Will's thesis tackled 'the politics of Formula One' - a subject derided by his lecturers but applauded by Formula 1 Magazine, who handed him a role as staff writer on his graduation. When the magazine closed its doors in 2004, he embarked on a whirlwind tour of that year's F1 campaign - in a campervan naturally - freelancing for various magazines, newspapers and websites. His travels caught the attention of the GP2 Series, and he became the official press officer for the inaugural season,. before being promoted to his current role in 2006.

While the eight annual e-reporter finalists, who come from all over Europe, probably won't have to prove their dedication by roughing it for a year in order to get the chance to report on GP2 at a European grand prix, the e-reporter forum gives the racing public a chance to question those 'on the inside' - this time with the much-travelled Mr Buxton in the hot-seat.

Questions can be posed in the usual ways, via the e-reporter forum - see details below - or via a special audio hotline (0845 0942599) which will remain open during the interview itself.

As usual, all questions posted will be screened for suitability by Bridgestone, but feel free to explore the length and breadth of F1, GP2, e-reporter and other related topics. The question voted best of the programme stands to receive a special prize, so get those thinking caps on....

Podcasts of each e-reporter chat will be produced for download after the event, and made available via the both Crash.net website and the official e-reporter website.
