Virgin missing Emmett.

This weekend sees the Bennetts British Superbike championship take to Snetterton for the eighth round of the championship and for the Virgin Mobile Samsung squad there's plenty of work to do for a team shorn of their No.1 rider, Sean Emmett.

Whilst Emmett's team-mates, Tommy Hill and Richard Wren will be going for glory, the squad acknowledges the amount it has missed Emmett's touch whilst he has been out of action with his broken arm.

Team boss Rob McElnea explains all. "To have Sean out of action for so long has had an impact on the squad; a number one rider leads the way and has a very positive effect on the team and its progress," he said.

"Unfortunately, we've really lacked these important qualities this year. We hope to have Sean back in the saddle a little before Silverstone when we plan to go testing and then we can concentrate on getting our season back on track."
