The final night of 2018 World Superbike and Supersport championship action has been delayed by rain in Qatar.
Warm-up is yet to start due to the conditions, putting in doubt the scheduled 17:30 start for the WSS title decider between Sandro Cortese and Jules Cluzel.
This evening's action is then set to conclude with the World Superbike race at 19:00, but a revised Saturday schedule will be released at 16:00.
The track is currently drying, but if conditions fail to improve sufficiently there is always the option of postponing the races until Sunday...
MotoGP held a wet night test at Losail earlier this year, but the results were inconclusive regarding the safety of racing in the rain under floodlights.
Latest news: Due to severe weather conditions, racing at the Pirelli Qatar Round is on standby. Stay tuned for further updates.#QatarWorldSBK pic.twitter.com/fsFHCK81TZ
