PICS: Toseland, Haga photo finish.
This photo finish was all that separated Noriyuki Haga and James Toseland for third position in race two of the 2006 Corona Extra World Superbike season opener, in Qatar on Saturday.
Toseland, the winner of race one, dived inside Haga - who crashed out of the race one lead on the last lap - at the final turn, but the Japanese tucked into the Ten Kate Honda rider's slipstream on the exit of the corner and pulled ahead by just one centimetre at the finish line.

"It was very close with Toseland. He passed me going into the chicane but I could not close the door as my tyres were gone. I was able to get into his slipstream though and thankfully my bike was quicker than his," said Nitro Nori afterwards.
Heading to round two of the championship, at Phillip Island next weekend, Toseland is joint second with Troy Corser - 2-points behind Troy Bayliss - with Haga a further 22-points back, in seventh.
