NEWSFLASH: Latvala crashes out of lead
Jari-Matti Latvala's start to the 2009 World Rally Championship has continued to go from bad to worse after he crashed out of the Rally Portugal lead.
The Finn had stretched his lead over Dani Sordo to ten seconds with victory on stages two and three, but is reported to have rolled off the road following the second split on the Malhao stage.
Although there was reportedly confusion as to whether the stage would continue, the drivers will reach the midday service park unhindered.

His demise leaves Sordo in the lead of the rally, from Marcus Gronholm, Mikko Hirvonen and the recovering Sebastien Loeb.
