2021 Spanish MotoGP, Jerez - Free Practice (4) Results
Quartararo leads final practice for the Spanish MotoGP at Jerez ahead of Yamaha team-mate Vinales and Suzuki's Rins.
Marc Marquez, sidelined for nine months after complications to a broken right arm at Jerez last July, was back on track this afternoon after a massive accident at Turn 7 this morning.
But Repsol Honda team-mate Pol Espargaro then fell at the same corner in a carbon copy of Marquez's fall, also fortunately emerging uninjured. The #93 was not far behind Espargaro on track when he fell.
The wind seemed to be causing problems with other falls for Aleix Espargaro (twice), Savadori, Rins and Petrucci, while a technical issue meant Miller missed the early part of the session.
Qualifying 1, for those outside the top ten after FP3 - which includes both Marquez brothers and now Morbidelli, after the Italian had another lap deleted during the lunch break for track limits, putting Miller into the top ten - will now get underway.
Injured rookie Jorge Martin is being replaced at Pramac by Rabat, while Bradl is making his first wild-card of the season after racing as a replacement for Marc Marquez in Qatar.
