Sepang 8 Hours - Race Results
Niccolo Canepa won the inaugural Sepang 8 Hours for YART Yamaha after completing the rain-shortened three hours of competitive action single-handedly.
The home Sepang Yamaha team of MotoGP star Franco Morbidelli, local hero Hafizh Syahrin and WorldSBK ace Michael van der Mark qualified on pole position, but saw their victory hopes dashed when van der Mark collided with Mike di Meglio while battling for the lead in the early stages.
