Zarco is making his MotoGP return this weekend for LCR Honda, in place of Nakagami, who is undergoing shoulder surgery. The Frenchman will ride the team's 2018-spec RCV in the last three rounds of this season.... and was quicker than Lorenzo on day one.
A 20-minute tyre test will be held directly after FP2, to gather data for Michelin on its 2020 rubber.
More rain is forecast for Saturday.
