Rookie star Quartararo was carried away on a stretcher after appearing to hurt his lower left leg in a late highside at Turn 6. The Frenchman is currently undergoing checks in the Medical Centre. UPDATE: Quartararo declared fit but will miss FP2.

Zarco is making his MotoGP return this weekend riding for LCR Honda in place of Nakagami, who is undergoing shoulder surgery. The Frenchman, who will ride the team's 2018-spec RCV in the last three rounds of this season, was the second-fastest Honda this morning.
A 20-minute tyre test is due to be held directly after FP2, to gather data for Michelin on its 2020 rubber, but only if it's dry.
