Dovizioso takes over at the top of the timesheets during FP2 in Thailand, which was red-flagged due to a huge highside for team-mate Lorenzo, after a possible technical problem appeared to lock his rear wheel into the Turn 3 hairpin.
The triple MotoGP champion, taken away sat-up on a stretcher, was already riding with an injured foot from Aragon...
It was a huge highside for Lorenzo, who is immediately checking his already injured foot.

Marquez fitted a soft rear tyre early in the session to lead for the majority of FP2, before others ran the soft rear in the closing ten minutes, after the restart. However Vinales, fastest this morning on a soft rear, set his best FP2 time with hard tyres.
Yamaha also unveiled its latest fairing design, the one allowed in-season upgrade, in FP2:

Redding, who like Iannone fell at the fast turn 4 this afternoon, and Torres were the only riders not to improve in FP2.
This weekend marks MotoGP's official debut in Thailand, following a pre-season test at the Buriram circuit in February. Michelin has designed new rear tyres using data from the test and there are four rear-slick options to choose from.
Pol Espargaro is back after rebreaking his left collarbone at Aragon, but riding for the first time at Buriram after missing February's test.
Tito Rabat is still recovering from leg injuries at Silverstone and again replaced by WorldSBK rider Jordi Torres. Torres has the GP16 machines of Simeon, who is on Rabat's GP17s.
