The Portuguese rider completed just two laps at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli this morning before withdrawing due to pain from an injured tendon in his right shoulder which meant he lost strength in his arm under braking.
Oliveira sustained the injury after being taken out by Zarco during the Silverstone race last Sunday which resulted in the French rider picking up a three-place grid penalty for the next race.
The Portuguese rider completed his post-race media duties without any mention of a shoulder injury or pain from the crash, as his Tech3 squad confirmed the injury was picked up in his crash with Zarco.
As a result, Oliveira will miss the rest of the Misano test to recover for the San Marino MotoGP round at the same venue which takes place on 13-15 September.
