Haas sets date for VF-21 F1 car online livery reveal
Haas will unveil its livery for the 2021 Formula 1 season next week on Thursday 4 March.
The American outfit is the 10th and final team to outline its launch plans for its new 2021 car, the VF-21, ahead of the upcoming season.
Haas will reveal its new livery during an exclusively online event next week, in line with what most other teams have done with physical presentations made difficult due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions.
The US team endured a difficult 2020 campaign and could only muster a total of three points as it finished ninth out of 10 teams in the constructors’ championship for a second successive year.
Following its struggles last season, Haas has opted to completely overhaul its driver line-up for 2021, signing Formula 2 champion and Ferrari junior Mick Schumacher and fellow rookie Nikita Mazepin.
Haas has already faced a setback for the new season, with coronavirus restrictions on movement preventing the team from being able to fire up its F1 challenger until pre-season testing in Bahrain next month.
McLaren, AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo and Red Bull have already revealed their 2021 cars, with Mercedes, Alpine and Aston Martin also set to launch their respective challengers before Haas.
Williams will follow Haas in taking the covers off its FW43B next Friday, before Ferrari is the last team to present its latest F1 car on 10 March, just two days before pre-season testing gets underway.
