"We are delighted with this extended involvement and with the research exchange we have enjoyed so far with DuPont," said BMW Sauber team boss, Mario Theissen. "We will continue to steadily develop our strategic partnership."
"Through innovation and science, DuPont helps the BMW Sauber F1 Team keep their drivers and team safer, as well as increase the cars' looks and performance," added Ian Hudson, president of DuPont Europe, Middle East and Africa.
"Highly visible applications - such as fire-resistant suits made out of DuPont Nomex, or high-performance coatings and paints - and many other DuPont materials and applications used throughout the car demonstrate DuPont's position as a strong partner to the automotive industry.
"We are looking forward to extending our cooperation with the BMW Sauber F1 Team on many fronts in the future."
