FIA confirms 17-race calendar for 2007.
The FIA - the governing body for the F1 World Championship - has released the complete schedule for 2007 and following a fax vote by the WMSC, it has been confirmed that 17 events will take place next year, one less than in 2006.
Germany will host only one event, although at which venue has yet to be revealed, while Italy will also lose its second event, at Imola, which means the European and San Marino grands prix are both no more. Spa-Francorchamps, however, returns following a make-over, bringing the Belgian GP back to the calendar.

Australia, as expected, will returns as the season-opener, with Bahrain moving back to the third slot on the schedule - a decision that was announced at the end of July.
The rest of the calendar is pretty much unchanged, although Britain will revert to its traditional slot one week after the French GP in July, swapping places with the Canadian and USGP rounds, which moved to July this year to accommodate the football World Cup. The season will once again conclude in Brazil.
