Massa wins Turkish GP.
Felipe Massa became the second new winner in as many Formula One races by leading from start to finish in the Turkish Grand Prix.
Although the Brazilian could not claim to have had as dramatic an entrance to the victory club as predecessor Jenson Button, the race at Istanbul Park did not lack for excitement and tension, as Fernando Alonso and Michael Schumacher duelled over second spot throughout the 58 laps, the Spaniard eventually taking advantage of an early safety car to claim a vital couple of points towards his championship defence.

Button got himself up to fourth, but had nothing for the leading trio, and had to fend off Pedro de la Rosa before taking the chequered flag. The Spaniard, rewarded for his efforts with a McLaren seat for the rest of the season, claimed fifth, ahead of Giancarlo Fisichella and Ralf Schumacher, both of whom were badly hampered by a first corner incident. Rubens Barrichello completed the scoring for Honda.
