Scuderia Toro Rosso has hit the track for the first time with its 2006 car on the third day of the latest Formula One group test at Jerez.
Having run with the Red Bull RB1 in previous sessions, the Spanish test session marks the first appearance for the STR01 - which will be the only car on the grid this coming season to use a restricted V10 engine.

Italian driver Vitantonio Liuzzi was the first driver to take to the track with the car during the test session, while his American team-mate Scott Speed is likely to get his first chance behind the wheel of the STR01 on Friday.
