Formula One ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone was treated to an early birthday present, courtesy of Australian Grand Prix Corporation chairman Ron Walker, when ten models interrupted the latest teams' meeting to present him with a cake.
Far from being irked at having a crucial pow-wow disturbed, Ecclestone was apparently amused by Walker's gesture which preceded his 75th birthday by a few days.

Far from being irked at having a crucial pow-wow disturbed, Ecclestone was apparently amused by Walker's gesture which preceded his 75th birthday by a few days.
The models were dressed in the overalls of the ten competing teams from F1 2005, but only temporarily distracted the team bosses, engine, tyre, circuit and sponsor representatives from agreeing to consider many of the proposals put forward by Ecclestone and the FIA, including revised qualifying, radical aerodynamics and the reintroduction of tyre changes.
Or perhaps they were still distracted when the agreements were made......
