Webber, Coulthard 'start' again.

Mark Webber and David Coulthard have not enjoyed the most harmonious of seasons, and war of words sparked into life once again at the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday.

According to reports, Webber suggested that race stewards needed to concentrate on monitoring starts more closely, after accusing Coulthard of making a flying getaway at Suzuka.

Mark Webber and David Coulthard have not enjoyed the most harmonious of seasons, and war of words sparked into life once again at the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday.

According to reports, Webber suggested that race stewards needed to concentrate on monitoring starts more closely, after accusing Coulthard of making a flying getaway at Suzuka.

"They have to do something about people jumping starts," the Williams driver told Reuters, having had to rely on a strong first pit-stop to pass the Scot and finish fourth overall, "Coulthard went two weeks early - it was like Ralf [Schumacher] in Brazil. One thousand per cent, he went before the lights went out."

"I'm pi**ed off that I'm not on the podium, but then fourth is third loser," he continued "Williams are a team which wants more, but the season we've had has been tough already."

Webber and Coulthard have exchanged words on several occasions this season, most notably when the Scot hit out at his former fellow GPDA director over the Australian's driving standards at the Turkish Grand Prix. DC branded Webber 'a hooligan' after claiming to have been sideswiped at Istanbul, but that has not stopped the pair coming together twice since, firstly as the result of a concertina effect at Monza's opening chicane and then again at Interlagos two weeks ago, when Coulthard was caught in a Williams pincer movement off the start line.

The Scot was less than impressed with the accusation that he had jumped the start in Japan.

"Go speak to the FIA," he fumed, "There's a start system in place and, as the lights started to change, I went. It doesn't really matter what other drivers think...."
