Irvine to switch focus to Minardi?

Having been linked with a possible purchase of his former team Jordan earlier this season, Eddie Irvine could now elect to make a bid for perennial back markers Minardi according to reports.

Any possible bid for the Italian team wouldn't be funded by Irvine himself, but by Russian billionaire Roustam Tariko - the man Irvine introduced to the Midland F1 group at the Monaco GP while Jordan was still his preferred target.
