BSS: Lowes fastest in wet warm-up
James Westmoreland was second fastest, despite heading the timesheets for most of the session, and Joe Dickinson on the Trucklinks Racing Honda just had the edge over fourth-quickest John McGuinness on the Padgetts Honda. The TT legend was just pipped to pole position by his team-mate Dennis Hobbs.
Championship leader Michael Laverty aboard the Relentless Suzuki was fifth fastest, just ahead of road racer Ian Hutchinson on the Bike Animal Honda bike and Gary Johnson who has a one off ride with the Gearlink Kawasaki team.

Stuart Easton, who will start from row two this afternoon, was eighth quickest on his Isilon MSS Discovery Kawasaki, followed by Martin Jessopp on the Riders Racing Ducati and Jamie Robinson completed the top ten.
Riders who were caught out by the wet conditions included Glynn Thomas and Mark Cronshaw who both fell on the exit of Druids, but were fortunately given as 'OK'. Alan O'Connor's Honda was shown the black and orange flag with a technical problem.
Pole-man Dennis Hobbs was playing it cautiously in the session, ending up just 21st. Similarly, the Virgin Media Yamahas of Tom Grant and Billy McConnell were 14th and 16th respectively.
