EXCLUSIVE: Hill stays at Virgin Mobile Yamaha.
Tommy Hill has confirmed to Crash.net Radio that he will remain with the Virgin Mobile Yamaha team for the next two seasons.
"I've signed for Virgin Mobile Yamaha team for next year and I'm pleased with that," said Hill. "I did speak to a few other teams but I think the best package is here with Virgin Mobile and in 2008 we have some other plans as well so we'll just see how it goes for the 2007 season. For the moment we need to concentrate on the last two rounds and give it a last push."

The Yamaha team are running Pirelli tyres which allows its riders to run as wild-cards in World Superbikes. Hill made his world championship debut this year at Silverstone and caught everyone's attention by taking pole position in treacherous wet conditions.
"We have a three years deal with Pirelli so you will probably see us at a few more World Superbikes which will be good for me. We are hoping to run in five to six races of the World Superbike championship. It should open a few doors for me at World Superbike level," commented Hill.
At round twelve of Bennetts British Superbike championship at Silverstone this weekend Hill has been running in the top five during free practice.
"I'm happy enough, fourth is where I want to be. I've been seventh, sixth and fifth all year and it does get on your nerves after a bit as obviously you want to be running at the front. The team are doing all they can at the moment and it is an up hill struggle but we are moving up the ladder," he concluded.
